Yenaro Ali Rodríguez Alcántara.

Lover of art, animals, the sky and the essence of love.

Dominican Musician with a focus on the arrangement and composition of different musical styles such as Merengue, Bossa, Jazz, and Contemporary Classical Music. Also passionate about music teaching.


From an early age, he began his musical studies at Academia de Música FM in Santo Domingo, receiving music theory and musicality classes with Fabio Méndez and Guitar classes with Camilo Rijo Fulcar. Years later he did musical courses at Academia de Música Diná and also at Centro Cultural Narciso González seeking academic preparation to enter to the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo in 2015, studying Classical Guitar Performance with the teachers Rubén Gonzales and Eulogio de Jesus and also receiving classes in harmony, theory, counterpoint and history of music under the education of incredible teachers such as Samuel Calderón, Adamilka Victoria, Santiago Fals, Mercedes Arostegui and Leticia Díaz. He also received classes from international Classical Guitarists such as Alex Komodore, Excier Rodriguez and Michael Bevers (Metropolitan State University of Denver).


I graduated of Lic. Contemporary Music at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). Receiving classes in interpretation, musicality, music history, harmony, art history, musical direction, ensembles, production, arrangement and composition of amazing teachers such as Corey Allen, Federico Méndez, Gustavo Rodríguez, Sergio Laconne, Alfio Lora, Francisco Tawil, Victor Mitrov, Mayra Peguero, Hussein Velaidez, Silvestre de Moya, etc.


Lover of inclusive education, expiring in the work of Silk Road Ensemble and María Battle, of using music as a tool for deaf children, inspires him to take basic sign language courses in Fundacion Pro-Bien in 2017.
